Phonic Pro has a variety of technical support services available to our customers. We strive to provide convenient and comprehensive support to both new and old users alike. If you find yourself unable to get your Phonic Pro product to operate the way you understand it should, and you have thoroughly reviewed your owner’s manual and all relevant documentation, please feel free to contact us for help.

For your records, and to facilitate Technical Support from either your equipment supplier or Phonic Pro, please record the following information when you receive your product.

The Serial Number for external units is located on the bottom of your unit below the barcode. The Serial Number for internal units is located below the barcode on the label attached to the bracket. Once you have located the Serial Number, please be sure to write it down. This will greatly speed up your service and insure that the service representative is addressing the proper model of modem.

Calls to Phonic Pro’s voice technical support staff are the most time consuming and you may find it difficult to get through. We do not want you left on hold for long periods of time, so we limit the queue length. We recommend that you take the time to familiarize yourself with the other services described in this flyer before calling. Many questions can be answered more quickly using e-mail or our World Wide Web Home page.

Return of Defective Units

Please contact your local distributor or reseller for Factory Authorized Repair or Replacement of your In Warranty Defective Product. If you are unable to reach your distributor, you can contact the Phonic Pro Factory Customer Service by calling:

Please note that the customer is responsible for any charges (including brokerage or customs and duties) associated with shipping the defective unit to %s for repair. During the first year Phonic Pro will pay return shipping to the customer by common carrier. After the first year the Customer may be required to pay a nominal shipping and handling fee. Any applicable customs, duties and brokerage charges to import the product are the responsibility of the customer. Phonic Pro encourages all customers to return defective units to their respective reseller whenever possible.            

Limited Warranty

Phonic Pro a division of Zoom Telephonics, Inc., warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for a period off 2 years from the date of the original retail purchase. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. For Phonic Pro products other than software, Phonic Pro will repair (or at its option replace) this product during the warranty period at no charge to you, provided you are the registered user and have registered the product within 120 days of purchase and have returned the product to Phonic Pro with the proper return procedure. After the first year of ownership a small shipping and handling fee may be charged on units returned to phonic Pro. (Any batteries included with this product are NOT covered by this or any other Phonic Pro warranty.)

For Software Products supplied by Phonic Pro

Phonic Pro will replace software at no charge if there is a defect in materials or workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the original retail purchase, provided it is returned to Phonic Pro with the proper return procedure.

Software programs supplied by Phonic Pro are sold as is without warranty, either expressed or implied, as to function, application, merchantability, performance or quality. Phonic Pro has no responsibility for updating software.

PHONIC PRO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY INCLUDING THE COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAMS OR DATA STORED OR USED WITH PHONIC PRO PRODUCTS, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT ASSUME NOR AUTHORIZE ASSUMPTION FOR US OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

Some states and countries do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty does not apply if the Phonic Pro product has been damaged by accidental, abuse, lightning or other natural disasters, misuse or misapplication, has been modified without the express written permission of Phonic Pro, or if any serial number has been removed or defaced. This warranty shall not be applicable to the extent that any provision of this warranty is prohibited in any federal, state, country or municipal law that cannot be preempted. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.
